A striking life-size classical revival sculpture of a standing female figure, finely carved in pale stone or marble and inspired by the timeless aesthetics of Greco-Roman statuary.  Late 19th century to early 20th century (circa 1880–1920. The figure is depicted in an elegant contrapposto stance, with the weight resting naturally on one leg, creating a graceful S-curve through the body that conveys both movement and balance.
 
Partially draped in a flowing garment that clings softly to the form before gathering around the lower body, the sculpture beautifully emphasises naturalistic anatomy and fluid drapery, hallmarks of classical revival craftsmanship from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. One arm is raised above the head while the other gently holds the edge of the drapery or veil, forming a dynamic yet harmonious composition.
 
The figure stands securely on a rectangular plinth base, allowing the piece to function both as an interior decorative sculpture or as a garden focal point. The surface displays subtle weathering and patina consistent with age, enhancing the authenticity and sculptural depth of the piece.
