Antique Oak Refectory Dining Table English Farmhouse Table Circa 1880–1910
One of 4 identical solid oak refectory-style dining tables of traditional English country form, featuring a plank top with a central join and a rich, warm patina developed through years of use. Two tables can be laid end to end to make an 8ft table, see images. The surface displays honest age-related wear, including ring marks, light scratches and natural imperfections, all contributing to its authentic rustic character. Raised on turned baluster legs, united by a substantial H-stretcher and terminating in shaped block feet, the table offers excellent strength and stability. The construction is robust and practical, typical of well-made farmhouse furniture designed for everyday use.
With its pleasing proportions, attractive grain and warm colour, this piece sits comfortably within both traditional and modern interiors. Ideal as a kitchen, dining or refectory table, it combines functionality with timeless English character. A genuine antique example with strong presence and enduring appeal.
Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear as photographed.
Dimensions: 130 cm (51.2") long x 90 cm (35.4") wide x 75 cm (29.5") high
